Marti Gobel is a San Diego native and local Actor, Director and Teaching Artist. Upon graduating from UW-Whitewater (2008) with a degree in Performance Theatre and Philosophy, she went on to have a rich National and International career both in the stage and behind the table. A JF Kennedy Center trained Teaching Artist (Effective Residenc

Marti Gobel is a San Diego native and local Actor, Director and Teaching Artist. Upon graduating from UW-Whitewater (2008) with a degree in Performance Theatre and Philosophy, she went on to have a rich National and International career both in the stage and behind the table. A JF Kennedy Center trained Teaching Artist (Effective Residency and Lesson Planning), she has been blessed to to work locally at Scripps Ranch Theatre, Cygnet Theatre, Moxie Theatre, La Jolla Playhouse and Diversionary Theatre. She currently serves as Producing Artistic Director and Education Coordinator at OnWord Theatre.

Jamaelya Hines is ecstatic to be performing with OnWord Theatre. She is an actor, singer and dancer who has been performing since the age of nine. Her most recent credits include: The Pop Tour (La Jolla Playhouse), Stew (Scripps Ranch Theatre), Jesus Christ Superstar and 42nd Street (Moonlight Amphitheatre) and In the Heights (SDMT).

Isai Luna is very excited to be part of this project with OnWord Theatre! His favorite credits include Exit, Pursued by A Bear, Bombs Over Everything!, Hay Fever, Ripcord, Bus Stop, The Taming of the Shrew, Sonnets for an Old Century, Blood Wedding, Stupid Fucking Bird, Dear Harvey and Meteor Shower. Katrina Heil (she/her) is thrilled to be working with OnWord Theatre! A rising junior studying theatre and political science at George Washington University, Katrina has performed in school productions, including M in Peerless and Medium Alison in Fun Home, as well as locally, most recently appearing last summer as Kendra in OnStage Playhouse’s production of Gloria. Malaina is a Milwaukee-based actress and playwright. She is a recent graduate of Marquette University, where she wrote and starred in the award-winning play WHITE PRIVILEGE. Since graduation, Malaina has featured in PRINCIPLE PRINCIPAL, PIPELINE and SPLASH HATCH ON THE E GOING DOWN (Next Act Theater), STEW (Milwaukee Chamber Theater) and

Delicia Turner Sonnenberg is a San Diego based director whose work has been celebrated for its boldness, creativity, and commitment to diverse storytelling.
