Arts integration is a way to enrich learning for students of all ages. OnWord Theatre has developed several exciting programs to share with the San Diego Educational Community. Our focus is to bring students to a richer, full-body understanding of a variety of topics with theatre as the creative source. More importantly, we seek to introduce students to a group of diverse artists that will aid-in and encourage long-lasting and active connections to multiple required subjects of learning.
OnWord Theatre and our incredible teaching artists are willing and able to travel to your school to conduct residencies that answer the current national standards of learning for grades 3-12. Our Producing Artistic Director Marti Gobel is a Kennedy Center-trained teaching Artist, who has crafted several 1-3 day residencies that connect Theatre to Humanities, Mathematics, History, and Science.
